• Elementary/middle/high school math courses: $45 per hour.

• Lower-division college math (through Calculus II): $45 per hour

• Upper-division college math (Linear algebra and beyond): $50 per hour

Prices are the same for both online and in-person tutoring.

Billing and payment timing

For both your benefit and mine, I do not accept payment for tutoring sessions until the session has taken place. This ensures that the correct amount is paid for each session, even if it takes longer or shorter than originally planned, or if a session is canceled altogether.

My preference is to have payment take place on a per-session basis, but if you prefer, I can send a weekly or monthly invoice so you can pay for multiple sessions at once. Payment is due within one week of the invoice date. If payment is not received by the due date, future appointments may be canceled until the invoice has been paid.

Rounding

Time spent on tutoring will be charged to the nearest 5 minutes. For example, if our session starts at 10:32 and we finish at 11:44, you will be charged for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Cancellation

I understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, leading to the need for cancellations. You may cancel or reschedule without any penalty up until twelve hours ahead of the scheduled appointment time.

Cancellations with less than twelve hours' notice will be charged a $15 cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than one hour of notice will be charged the full price of the session.

Of course, in cases of illness or emergencies, last-minute cancellations may be unavoidable. Cancellation fees may be waived for legitimate illness or emergency situations. However, excessive cancellations for illness or emergency may be subject to a review, and the waiver of fees will be at Math Sister's discretion.

Illness

I don’t want to get you sick, and I don’t want you to get me sick. If you are ill and have an in-person tutoring session scheduled, please reach out to me to either cancel/reschedule or switch to an online session.
